Welcome to MiB - the web site of Methods in Bioinformatics for young biologists. We'll focus on abilities to solve practical problems with methods in bioinformatics:

The course will be run in Room 203, Teaching Building 1, on Wednesday, Class 10-11. You will learn from the very beginning, how to work with computers and dozens of bioinformatics ideas, to help you with all these tasks, through extracurricular assignments. What you need before you come to this course:

• Basic computer skills
• Basic math knowledge
• Good background of molecular biology
• Ability to read and write in English
• At least another 6 hours to stick on the Internet doing homework of the course

Don't expect to become a bioinformatics expert, but you will get something done if you study hard. And you'll get a good feeling at the end of the course:
